Incarcerated Voices is a non-profit organization that seeks to give a voice to America's incarcerated population. This is accomplished by publishing responses from incarcerated writers in newsletters, online, and radio broadcasts. While interning here, I was responsible for the following: -Analyzed and evaluated written submissions (3 per week) by incarcerated individuals for publication, writing a brief summary and analysis for each -Composed response letters to each writer to thank, encourage, and offer constructive writing feedback -Proposed thought-provoking questions on criminal justice and current events to which incarcerated writers submitted future responses

Graduated with Honors in English, minor in Russian. Studied language in St. Petersburg, Russia in the summer of 2013. Activities and Societies: Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Tau Delta, and Dobro Slovo honor societies
