As part of my role as a project administrator and engineering intern with The Stable Group, a regional consulting firm, I have had the opportunity to assist with the development of a workforce training model for Squadron Energy (formally CWP Renewables) in their construction and operation of wind farms in the Central-West region of NSW. Designing a workforce training model, has required in-depth discussion with Squadron Energy’s executive staff surrounding the operation of wind farms to supply electricity to the grid and the national requirements that govern this delivery. In my role, I have learnt the skills required to develop client reports, project management plans, proposal budgets and weekly presentations to clients, utilising the suite of Microsoft Office software.

During my time at Ravensworth CHPP, I conducted daily process checks, identifying and resolving issues such as a motor load step down affecting the pressure of a DMC cyclone. I collaborated with technicians to address a defeated valve closure causing misrepresentation in Citect, subsequently incorporating preventive measures in KPI meetings. Additionally, I developed partition curves, improved communication through Power Bi, and optimised frother dosing in flotation cells, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of coal production processes and cost considerations.
