Conduct legislative research and analysis on U.S. foreign policy, support constituent and stakeholder meetings, and manage office administrative tasks for U.S. Senator Tina Smith. Track legislation and foreign relations committee hearings, including synthesizing notes, and analyzing the current state of nuclear nonproliferation and power balancing in Asia.

Provided administrative, communications, and logistical classroom support for a comparative political systems course and an international security course. Designed discussion section curriculums, hosted office hours, mentored students, graded student course work, and fostered a creative educational environment through interactive learning activities.

Conducted in-depth research from a range of sources on international organized crime and international institutions contributing to congressional testimony and blog posts. Created actional insights and data visualizations from large scale data entry and analysis. Authored an events logistics memo and welcomed guests for a Talbott event.

Assist with creating a new development project including research proposals, background research for reports, and presentations to senior staff.

Designed a multi-party simulation with USIP’s Peace Game and Pacific Islands team, synthesized background research, and illustrated complex conflict dynamics in the Pacific. Efficiently researched potential gaming scenarios and summarized findings to USIP through a task management tracker.

Direct engagement with in-country teams to write 2 annual narrative reports, a curriculum for a women's development project, research synthesizing trends for global strategy development, and PowerPoints tracking progress for senior management. Authored an accountability to affected persons protocol to protect clients and create feedback mechanisms, and a monitoring and evaluation data management system for five programs. Led a partner site visit in Ahmedabad, India for 24 global leaders in January 2024 including site visits, facilitation of dialogue between participants and partners, and continued engagement.

Strengthen communities and develop leaders through direct, team-based national and community service. Directed an 8 person team in returning over $2.2 million in tax refunds through the volunteer income tax assistance program, reduced food insecurity for over 12,000 families with The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri, and assisted in shelter and case work disaster operations with the American Red Cross.

A U.S. Department of State Diplomacy Lab project to explore factors affecting cultural, educational, economic, and political life in Chile. Research includes literary reviews and interviews and culminated in a report to our sponsor at the State Department.
