My career has predominantly been in security, emergency management and intelligence. I am currently working in the private sector after years in the public sector (government and multilateral organizations). I have been exposed to security impacting world events allowing me a depth and breadth of geopolitical awareness and its associated impacts. I have managed specialized security units at the UN. Rolled out regional security programs at the WHO. Directed embassy security for Global Affairs Canada, where I oversaw mass evacuations, embassy closures and openings. I was Operations Chief in Global Affairs Canada’s response to COVID-19, the largest and most complex consular response in Canada’s history. I have worked domestically on issues related to arctic security and emergency management in Western Canada. I have spent five years working at various Canadian Embassies abroad as a civilian Security Manager. I have received a two Canadian service medals, Deputy Minister’s awards for work in Afghan evacuations, a NATO commanders commendation in Kabul, and was recognized by the Afghan Special Forces for the work I completed alongside them. I have created, maintained and lead a robust network of information sharing whose membership comprised, Embassies, NGOs, Supra National organizations including the UN and the private sector. This information network allowed the Canadian government to have cutting edge information in order to assess security trends, evolving global, regional and local political events and information related to the future of various private company operations in each respective country. I have produced reports with actionable information that has benefited law enforcement operations in various parts of Canada. I endeavour to do the same for my new employer. I am fully bilingual, possessing dual nationality of both Canada and France. I am also adept at learning new languages and have basic Arabic and Hebrew which I used for my assignment to the Palestinian Territories. I am currently enrolled in German lessons.
