I began my career as a marketing executive at a publication and branding company, where I had the chance to connect with professionals from various industries. Through interviews and attending courses—especially around property investment—I learned how people use bank leverage and long-term strategies to build equity. When I was talking with my parents, I realized a lot of the properties they had invested in were actually making money and doing well—this really deepened my interest in property investing. Three years later, I moved into a role at a computer subscription startup, focusing on business development and sales. It was a very exiting journey- I got to be part of a fast-paced, high-growth environment where I picked up a lot of new skills. The CEO lead us & raised over RM20 million in funding and grew the company’s valuation from zero to over RM100 million. Outside of work, I’ve always enjoyed working out and exploring new things—especially in real estate. Scrolling property platforms became a nightly habit, and over 3 years I built a portfolio worth over RM3 mil. All the properties are fully rented, covering their loan repayments with a bit of surplus each month. Today, started a company called Livinn Stay, a company helping people build strong, income-generating property portfolios. We focus on renovations that make tenants love to stay and offer tailored rental strategies. I once heard an experienced expert say: - business owners hit their 50s often got no cash due to business failure / cashflow issues - employees reach that age having insufficient income to retire or support their families.
