Excellent in the handling of controlled substances, cytotoxic oncology products, and drug products whose compositions may take such forms as solutions, emulsions, or suspensions. Developing and validating robust analytical methods for in-process testing, cleaning samples testing, and final product release as well as overseeing raw material testing. In addition, performing method transfer validation on formulations provided by contract manufacturers. Compounding drug products in small batches for studies. Scheduling preventative maintenance and calibration of equipments. Maintaining lab notebooks, log books, and material inventory. Writing and reviewing Testing Method Validation Protocols, Cleaning Method Validation Protocols, Laboratory Testing Procedures (LTMs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Out of Specification (OOS) reports. Strong technical, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations. Proficient in GC, HPLC (ChemStation), AA, UV, and IR; and wet chemistry and physical testing methods.
