- Provide administrative support to the Director of Clinical and Patient Affairs and Specialty Clinics. - Review and analyze all information required for proposed projects. - Conduct research on assigned projects in order to be able to prepare a proposal to the Administration. - Coordinate closely with project initiation, planning, follow up and closing. - Provide support in prioritizing, resource supply and internal consulting to ensure that targeted goals and milestones are carried out consistently and successfully. - Prepare reports and presentations for assigned projects and assist in preparing departmental presentations. - Provide information necessary for decisions to be taken in relation to Clinical and Patient Affairs and Specialty Clinics. - Follow up and report on progress of assigned renovation and capital ongoing projects at the FM/AUBMC. - Conduct site visits and rounds at the Medical Complex and introduce plans/changes to ensure optimal space. - Manage and handle patient satisfaction related projects as assigned by the Medical Center Director and Chief Medical Officer and Director of Clinical and Patient Affairs and Specialty Clinics. - Proactively assist in Performance Improvement projects and initiatives related to Patient Affairs and Specialty Clinics based on statistical analysis, audit reviews, and surveys. - Involved in review of policies, manuals, processes, staffing, finances, clinic utilization and operation of Specialty Clinics for continuous improvement. - Oversee the day to day activities of the Surveying Unit. - Assist the Deputy Director for Patient Affairs in preparing patient satisfaction survey tools as needed. - Analyze and report the patient satisfaction surveys as well as use statistical knowledge in analyzing and making use of the data to better reflect the patients’ perception of care and services. - Organize and analyze the qualitative comments retrieved from the patient satisfaction surveys.

- Assessment and nutritional management and follow ups of inpatients in: Medical and Surgical Units, Maternity and Delivery Suite Units, Psychiatry Unit, Coronary Care Unit, Respiratory Care Unit, Hemodialysis Unit, and Oncology Unit. - Assessment and nutritional management and follow ups of outpatients in different clinics located at AUBMC. - Acted as a preceptor for CP dietetic interns for a period of two weeks.

•"Life is Sweeter with Less Sugar" Campaign - Prepared educational pamphlets and brochures in Arabic related to diabetes and hypertension management. - Conducted individualized nutritional counseling for 50 uncontrolled diabetic patients. - Conducted an educational session for UNRWA social workers and medical staff to educate them on the importance of nutrition in the management of diabetes, to highlight the errors in their existing educational material and to propose recommendations for future improvement.

Divided into 3 parts: Foodservice, Clinical, and Community rotations - Assessed patients' nutritional status, developed & implemented appropriate nutrition care plans with regular follow ups and nutrition education for inpatients and outpatients. - Performed a pilot test study for the evaluation of a Modified Adult Initial Nutrition Screening Score Tool. - Nutrition Education Session for Illiterate Bedouin Women in the Lebanese Bekaa region about overweight and obesity. - Participated in the pre-assessment phase of the "Nestle Healthy Kids Global Program" - Participated in implementing a "Low Salt" theme day at the AUBMC cafeteria and took part in planning, purchasing, preparing and coordinating the whole function (i.e. menu, equipment requirements, decorations, costs, event promotion, work schedules etc). - Participated in the annual AUB fit-a-thon and educated the AUB community about Sports Nutrition. - Participated in a filming session workshop where I presented a one-minute presentation about osteoporosis to be potentially broadcast on national television. - Seminars: "Food Waste Management in Hospital Settings" and "Colorectal Cancer: A Case of Rectal Adenocarcinoma."
