The core business of UBAF is international Trade Financing. As a Local Compliance Officer, I am responsible for overseeing financial security matters, playing a crucial role in ensuring compliance at U.B.A.F. Tokyo branch. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to; •Providing guidance on AML/CFT, sanctions, anti-bribery, fraud prevention, etc. •Monitoring compliance controls and mitigating risks. •Acting as a liaison with regulators and government agencies. •Managing KYC files and ensuring compliance with international sanctions. •Implementing and reviewing compliance rules and governance guidelines. •Conducting compliance training and workshops.
