I am a hands on leader and focus on collaborative teamwork. I oversee operations at multiple manufacturing facilities, focusing on setting goals, managing finances (budgets, P&L), ensuring production efficiency, quality, and safety, leading teams, aligning manufacturing with overall business objectives, negotiating key contracts, and reporting to the board, often acting as a hands-on leader out in the plant if needed. Responsible for evaluating all new and existing product and creating manufacturing plans, costing and product pricing. Responsible for weekly, quarterly, and yearly quality reports to executive management. Direct reports are from the following departments: injection molding, assembly, quality, product development, procurement, logistics, engineering and Sales. Direct Sales responsibility for our Sales for our 4 largest customers, representing 40% of our top line sales. Responsible for product liability, safety and compliance to the Consumer Product Safety Committee Federal Laws as well as specific Retailer Requirements. Participating member of Federal Government Affairs Committee for Toy Safety, Safety Standards & Technical com, as well as ASTM Sub-committees for Toy Safety. (ASTM, CPSC, Toy Association and Lobbying in DC) Winner of the 2023 Advocate of the Year Award from the Toy Association for going above and beyond Oversee in house product testing to ensure that CPSC and ASTM Safety Standards are met for the toy industry. Manage all trade show activities for the two major NA Shows (New Your and LA) Give direction on material specifications for injection molding, Troubleshoot molding issues and direct corrective actions if required. Responsible to reduce scrap, number of replacement products and customer complaints for all three manufacturing facilities. Along with other continuous improvement and efficiency improvement activities.

Responsible to deliver Quality suspension modules JIT to DCX with a PPM of 3. Facilitate Employee Involvement Team focusing on Scrap Reduction, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Employee Suggestions and Safety. Lead Quality Audit Action Team, reporting Quarterly to Senior Executives at DCX Report monthly MOS information to Site Manager Present FTT and Quality Issues at daily Roadblock meeting Oversee Quality Liaisons onsite at the DCX Jefferson North Assembly Plant Facilitate Standard Work events and lead implementation for lean manufacturing activities and process improvements. Completion of 8D and 7-Steps corrective actions Daily Layered Process Audits Updates to Control Plans, Inspections Sheets, Work Instructions, and other related quality documentation Lead weekly LPA reporting and finding meeting with senior management Facilitate smooth implementation of Engineering Changes between corporate engineering, the plant, and DCX assembly plant. Lead Process Sign Off’s, PPAP submissions, and document population in Powerway. Lead Successful 06 ½ and 07 MY product launches for front Cradle, Coil Over Shock, and Wheel End Suspension modules.

Responsible to develop, improve and sustain a Supplier Development and Management System. Develop a collection and reporting structure for PPM, DMN, and DPR numbers. Improve the Supplier Change database and approval system Conduct Supplier Conferences Develop and implement TS16949 based Supplier Process Audits Audit and Develop new and existing Suppliers Globally. Including locations in China, S. Korea, Taiwan, Mexico, and U.S Develop and Implement Supplier Charge back system Evaluate and improve Receiving Inspection Champion Supplier’s Six Sigma Projects Conduct Quarterly Reviews with Key Suppliers based on PPM performance Develop and institute a manageable containment program for suppliers who are consistently supplying product out-of-spec (CS1, CS2, no-bid, resource) Successful launch of multiple new suppliers globally Significant reduction in Supplier incidents and PPM. From Jan through Sep the Supplier PPM was 630, prior to Jan the supplier PPM was 2300 (2004 total). Out of the 81 suppliers I was responsible for 30 had Zero PPM, 13 had single digit PPM and 15 were under 50 PPM.

Responsible for the APQP Deliverables to DCX for the ND Electrical Wiring Program as well as support for current production. Inclusive of those activities are: Collaborating and coordinating updates to the PSO Binders Loading and verifying documents are correct in the Powerway system Layered Process Audits, Run@Rates, Facility Readiness Audits Pre-PSO preparation with the associated Lear Manufacturing Facilities Lead PSO’s with DCX Customer interface with DCX Supplier Quality Specialist Manage Odd box Changes and Process Improvements with DCX SQS Co-manage Quality Issues at the customer manufacturing plant, including minor rework if necessary. Problem resolution, Facilitate and Lead Corrective actions (8D) and reports.

Responsible for supplied components on all 23 different DCX Electrical wiring and Electronics programs, managing 95 high risk suppliers. Champion of 3 suppliers with a goal to reduce RPPM to Lear by 50% Develop and successfully launch new suppliers located in Honduras, Mexico, Spain, and U.S Responsible for Supplier Process Sign Off’s for High Risk components Review and facilitates supplier corrective action (8D) responses Lead weekly meetings to track and report actions relating to supplier launch readiness. Act as Liaison between Lear Manufacturing Plant and Supplier to resolve quality issues for new products. Conduct supplier visits, surveys, and quality system audits (QS9000 or TS16949) as required. Work with product development teams to develop and launch new suppliers Responsible for development and implementation of supplier quality systems (Manage/mentor supplier’s APQP activities for new components, supplier PPAP approval, process change management, supplier launch, supplier assessment, and continuous improvement efforts)
