In 2016, company was acquired by CJ Group and renamed as CJ Haide (Ningbo) Biotech. In 2022, company acquired by its founder and Dr John Lu, whilst renamed as Ningbo Zhenhai Haide Biotech Co., Ltd.

Company was established and amino acids production lines were commissioned. Plant are located in the Ningbo Petrochemical Economical & Technological Development Zone (NPETDZ).
