Muhammad Hafiz Farhan BIN AZMI

I am a graduate of the École des Mines d’Albi, where I specialized in Industrial Engineering in 2025. My academic journey combined theoretical learning with practical experience through an apprenticeship at Petzl’s Industrial Division in Crolles, France. During my 18 months as an Industrial Project Manager (Apprentice), I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including machine obsolescence management, new product development, prototype industrialisation and securisation, and several metal component–related initiatives. This experience allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of industrial project management — from design to production — while working closely with cross-functional teams in production, maintenance, and product development. Today, I am continuing this path as a full-time Industrial Project Manager at Petzl Manufacturing Malaysia (PMM), where I remain focused on the same themes and contribute to Petzl’s industrial development at an international scale. Before moving to France, I pursued my education in Malaysia, where I always aspired to study abroad. That goal materialised when I was accepted to pursue higher education in France. I first completed one year of preparatory classes at UniKL MFI, followed by two years in Chemical and Process Engineering in Toulouse, before joining IMT Mines Albi to specialize in Industrial Engineering. My ambition is to continue strengthening my skills in industrial engineering and project management, while contributing to innovation and operational excellence in demanding industrial environments.
