Medical Devices and Automotive Moulding Process Engineer focusing on LEAN Manufacturing, Total Quality Management (TQM) and supply on demand (JIT - Just in Time). I am involved daily with process implementation of all new projects, training and process improvement projects (Kaizen) I have also completed training with the Plastics Federation of South Africa (PFSA) in collaboration with the Japanese External Trade Organization (JETRO), who specifically target Advanced level Engineers in the plastics automotive industry. I am considered an expert in my chosen field, namely Injection moulding processes and manufacturing and Assembly for Chrome Plated and Painted Parts,including Gas Injection , 2 Shot with Babyplast , Side Injection and Rotating Platten with over 40 years experience. I have Extensive Knowledge on the Technical Machines : Krauss Maffei - Engel CC200/CC300 (electric) -Toshiba (Electric) -Haitian - Supermaster, Fanuc Roboshot, Demag Sumitomo (electric) Further to this, I have compiled and published various training manuals for the Company related to injection moulding, namely mould preparation, tool change procedures, start up procedure and first off submission as well as fault finding and corrections and process optimisation. I have conducted In-House Setter Training and Assessments . I would love to get into the field of Training : Plastics Injection Moulding . I feel its about time for me to give back the knowledge gained over the years and also assist the Industry and the Technical skills . I am an extremely passionate individual with a drive to excel and succeed in all that I encounter. I have a huge amount of passion for my area of expertise (Plastic Injection Moulding). My career objective is to make a mark in the Plastics industry! Travelled abroad to Canada , China , Taiwan , Thailand , Portugal, UK and Germany to conduct Trials on Overseas Tooling . Conduct Tool Design Reviews , Design Changes & Recommendations ,Tool Buy-Off and Sampling, NPI & Validation.
