Haaris Rahman

My passion for artificial intelligence and robotics began after watching the movie Wall-E. The capabilities of an autonomous agent having perception and general reasoning inspired me and today, that is not too far from reality. My journey down this path began early, where I represented Singapore at Robocup 2010. Since then, I have broadened my horizon to vision in robotics and healthcare using classical and deep learning methods. I have worked on deep learning for vision in unique sectors such as agriculture and healthcare. The capabilities of AI have a tremendous impact on various industries and I am passionate about building a career in this domain. In my free time, I like to read about the latest developments in research and tech, especially in vision. These days, I am exploring areas in reinforcement learning.
