I act as a key operational coordinator with internal and external teams such as production, editorial, and our international channel teams (Indian, English, Spanish,..) tasked with organizing broadcast planning, and live transmission workflows to ensure seamless on-air delivery. I lead the booking coordination of all Motorsport events (Formula 1, Moto GP, World Superbike) as well as Fight events (WWE, World Championship Boxing and PFL). Additionally I contribute to major international productions, such as preparations for the upcoming Milan Winter Olympic Games.

Working with broadcasters to develop end to end strategies for broadcasting needs. Assisted in developing the strategy for covering the Paris Olympics, NBA, Champions League, and French Presidential Allocution for broadcasters like BeinSports, France Television, Canal +. Purchasing and scheduling satellite capacity and broadcast resources for news, sport and corporate events. Dealing with customer requests, by phone and email. Purchasing and scheduling of in-house and out-of-house satellite capacity. Allocation of in-house antennae, encoders, decoders and fibers. Entering of billing information for the billing department. Liaison with Sales and Master Control Room colleagues. Strict adherence to deadlines, to ensure the message gets to broadcasters in time for news bulletins or time allocated for sport transmissions. Crisis management when required to ensure that required operations are successfully completed. Develop new and existing relationships through with all major broadcasters while identifying new opportunities by staying up to date with current affairs and upcoming events.

Development of youth and Novela channels in Ethiopia. Monitoring and verification of files on internal server (MAM). Creation of program sheets / contracts. Coordination of various service providers: distributors, dubbing, self-promotion, broadcasting, etc. Provide weekly reports on workflow and event status. Liaising with other internal departments such as sales and distribution. Manage the production of promotional material Writing summaries. Viewing and drafting of viewing notes on prospecting for youth and educational content. Editorial verification of content. Editorial participation in the development of promotional/self-promotional videos. Managing and building effective working relationships with our production,scheduling and translation team, ensuring all work was clearly briefed, delivered on time to a high standard.

Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them. Planning company’s exhibitions at trade shows and conferences. Ensuring all communications were technically accurate, compliant, consistent. Managing all internal and external communication functions, which included the following: -Strategic planning for the communication drive -Managing the development and implementation of PR and promotional campaigns that supported our marketing campaigns for our content TV shows. -Executing proactive and reactive media actions, scanning reviews, and using our promotional material. -Developing communication plans for our channel brand and managing continuing communication with the specific target markets. -Writing of press releases, layouts for our contacts.
