Responsible for Supply Chain, supporting E&P assets in Norway, UK and Algeria. running Supply Chain assets for E.ON Gas Storage in Germany and UK.

Senior member of the Global Supply Chain Board, Successfully supported all Offshore drilling campaigns in the International and Offshore BU as well as creating highly capable supply chain team to lead operational and construction activities in remote regions. Responsibilities included; international and offshore natural gas and corporate business, leadership of 180 staff and contractors and fully accountable for supply chain strategies in Canada, Syria, Libya, UK, Netherlands, Norway, US and Trinidad.

A member of the Executive team responsible for Purchasing and Logistics. Reduced total purchase costs 25% and lead times by 50% Implemented low cost country sourcing, reudcing largest category spend by 53%.

Accountable for £300m spend across European Manufacturing locations, centralizing procurement, optimizing strategy and introducing category management processes.

Worked as part of the European Executive Board within driving manufacturing, technology and commercial strategy. Ensured operational and cost reduction targets exceeded on raw materials, capital, non production, MRO and logistics spends. Managed 70+ Staff. Improved purchased costs in excess of 10%. Reduced inventories by 35%. Delivered 15% reduction in logistics costs, reduced hauliers from 34 to 11 and 99% 'On Time Deliveries'.

Joined in 1990 as a buyer and continuously gained promotion through a range of positions to the level of Global Supply Chain Manager of the group in 1999. 1999-2000 - Global Supply Chain Manager Responsible for outsourcing two large UK Electronics manufacturing sites. Established a robust supply chain in China and Far East to support product supply into the retail sector. Satisfying outsourced demands of a further six European Businesses, and developing them to support the changing requirements. 1997-1999 - Divisional Head of Purchasing (Plumbing Division) Forecasting production planning process, capacity planning, master production schedule, creation of MRP, schedule adherence, stock management, warehouse management, route selection and distribution and delivery performance. 1993-1996 - Purchasing and Materials Manager Actively reduced total acquisition costs, supplier relationships, negotiations, monitoring supplier performance and reduced manufacturing and delivery lead times. 1990-1993 - Senior Buyer Led the purchasing team of 6 direct reports with a total spend of £25m, 180 supplier and 3,600 items.
