I built Patient Watch as a summer project to stop my dad (a surgeon) from having to post paper symptom diaries to his patients. What started as a simple digital diary has grown into a platform used by NHS and private clinicians to automatically collect patient-reported outcomes, track recovery, and detect complications early — all without adding extra admin. We also help drug and device companies prove their innovations work, by collecting real-world outcome data from patients after treatment. Today, I focus on giving clinicians — who are often deprived of good software — an easy way to follow up with patients remotely and gather meaningful data for their follow up or for research. Before Patient Watch, I founded Thetis Medical, where I designed a splint to help Achilles rupture patients sleep better and recover in comfort.
