Selected to participate in the Women in Architecture Mentoring Programme, which focuses on fostering professional growth, developing architectural skills, and building industry connections. Collaborating with a mentor to enhance portfolio development, refine technical knowledge, and navigate career opportunities in architecture.

During my one-week placement, I followed a structured schedule and completed a design project that incorporated the Waugh Thistleton Architects’ sustainable and timber-focused ethos. I developed and presented my ideas using InDesign software, including SketchUp to create a café concept. This experience strengthened my digital design skills, presentation abilities, and understanding of how architectural values can be applied within a real-world brief.
