As Co-Founder of Zeno Renewables, I’m driven by a mission to make Zeno the foremost name in solar energy for homes across Canada. My journey began with humble beginnings as an immigrant, choosing to train as an electrician with the hope of contributing to humanitarian work in developing nations. Early on, I realized that access to electricity is a critical stepping stone out of poverty, which ignited my passion for sustainable energy. Today, I’m proud to lead a movement toward the widespread adoption of renewable energy, with an ambitious target to install solar panels on 1 million Canadian homes by 2040. This initiative has the potential to reduce Canada’s residential carbon footprint by over 10%. For me, Zeno’s mission is about more than business success—it’s about empowerment and building the most engaged and fulfilled team in the industry. I’m honored that my efforts have been recognized through awards like EY Entrepreneur of The Year® 2023 Prairies, Top 40 Under 40, and SAIT Distinguished Alumni. These achievements reflect not only my contributions but also the incredible work of our team and the renewable energy community. Outside of work, I’m deeply committed to philanthropy, actively supporting initiatives that uplift communities and enhance education. My belief in the transformative power of collective action is rooted in my appreciation for family and community values.
