20 years of experience in the development of renewable energy projects in various countries and with various technologies. Fields of expertise : solar and hydro . Experienced in wind , storage , biomass , biogas and biofuel Currently development director of Akuo Energy in Western Europe ( mostly Portugal Spain & France ), Indian Ocean and French West Indies. Manager and winner of 450 MWp in Portuguese auction of 2019 with a price low world record. 3700 MW of renewable energies under development and a team of 60. Previously responsible of worldwide hydro business development. He is a former director of a portfolio of operating solar photovoltaic assets generating a 25 M€ turnover. As a project manager he was the leader of a dozen of successful projects, especially in la Réunion, in the French West Indies, and in south of France, for a total installed capacity of around 50 MW. He conducted many site studies and due diligence for projects in Europe, Turkey, South America and Indonesia. Before Akuo, Guillaume worked in Canada on Hydro Project development and operation. From his experience in many different locations and fields of activities required by a Renewable Energy project, he has an extensive overview of the various issues that can be met during the full cycle of project development, but also construction and operation. Guillaume holds a master degree of Energy Engineering from Ecole Centrale Lyon, France, and a MAP certificate from INSEAD Business school.
