Software developer with focus in physics simulation and rendering, using real-time rendering engines such as Unity and Unreal. It's also my responsibility to establish the pipeline between the FEM or CFD software and rendering engine, allowing communication between both elements. Over my last year at Infinite Foundry, I've created multiple pipelines as part of a multidisciplinary team, covering multiple scenarios and needs. Master thesis in "Prediction of Stress-Strain Curves of Biphasic Materials using Machine Learning". This included the development of the entire framework in Python/Tensorflow, generating a purpose designed dataset using classical numerical methods for stress calculation, as well as training, evaluating and tuning the neural networks. The final results were promising, speeding up the calculations of repetitive sections of the method by several orders of magnitude, with little impact on accuracy. The final grade obtained was 19 out of 20. During my degree, I've also obtained experience in team management as Marketing Supervisor for the FEUP's mechanical engineering students association, managing the team with 10 to 12 members during my 5th school year, ensuring the promotion of the near weekly events organized by 90+ students. I've also entered multiple competitions and lend a hand in a variety of extra-curriculum projects.
