About
After completing my Ph.D. cum laude at Politecnico di Torino in 2025, I joined the Marine Offshore Renewable Energy Lab as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. My work focuses on optimal control, fault diagnosis, and fault-tolerant control for offshore renewable energy systems — primarily wave energy converters (WECs). I have delivered end-to-end control projects, from mathematical modelling to experimental validation in international facilities (Aalborg University, Oregon State University, UPC Barcelona). I regularly design data analysis pipelines in MATLAB and Python, and translate research into peer-reviewed publications, EU project contributions, and decision-support reports for industrial partners. Alongside my academic role, I am CTO and co-founder of SEAMORPH, a deep-tech startup building a reconfigurable autonomous underwater robot for inspection and maintenance of offshore structures.

Authored 25 indexed peer-reviewed publications - Owned an end-to-end control project for wave energy converters, from concept and theoretical design to software implementation and experimental validation, delivering all milestones on time. - Coordinated multidisciplinary test campaigns in international facilities, managing budgeting, procurement, logistics, safety, and compliance procedures. - Collaborated with international teams and stakeholders (academic and industrial), aligning technical objectives and communicating progress and results in a clear, actionable way. - Translated research into tangible outputs for partners: peer-reviewed publications, contributions to EU project proposals, and open-access datasets that de-risk technology development. - Designed analytics pipelines in Matlab and Python for experimental data, supporting design choices, performance evaluation, and risk reduction in control system deployment.
