22 Marc 2012 - Each year Euroscola welcomes thousands of students aged between 16 to 18 years old from all 28 European Union Members States to spend a day in Strasbourg and work as Members of the European Parliament. Students experience a day as a MEP, engaging in the EU decision-making through debates in the hemicycle, negotiations with their colleagues, voting and adopting resolutions on topical European issues. It gives students the opportunity to interact and exchange information in a foreign language and also highlights the importance of cross-cultural cooperation. Furthermore, students are given the possibility to introduce their school and the region where they come from, which provides for greater diversity and enriches the cultural dialogue.

The XXVIth National Selection of the European Youth Parliament Association (EYP) brought together 100 participants from 12 secondary schools from 19 to 23 March 2011. Through their participation in the selection, the participants acquired extensive skills and knowledge of international teamwork, languages, intercultural communication and European politics. The participants therefore took a moment of European citizenship.

The summer school provides theoretical and practical lessons about recent advances in enabling technologies for electronics, electromagnetics, future wireless transceivers, systems and networks in scenarios such as IoT, Industry 4.0, Cyber-Physical-Systems (CPS), autonomous vehicles, robots. Wireless circuits and systems and internet technology are becoming pervasive in many applications fields such as logistic (e.g. RF identification), vehicle industry (e.g. connected cars, advanced driver assistance systems, V2V and V2I wireless communications, radar, lidar), automation in industrial or domotic scenarios (e.g. wireless sensor and actuator networks), smart manufacturing (e.g. industry 4.0), health&wellness (e.g. wireless wearable sensing and biomedical circuits), robots.
