Software Development Manager
Seattle, Washington
[May 2025 - Present] I joined Project Kuiper as the SDM of the eCommerce Privacy charter. [Oct 2021 - May 2025] After leading the Used shopping experience space as a SDE, I transitioned to a Software Development Manager (SDM) role and built a team focused on improving customers ability to purchase Used items on Amazon. I grew my team from 2 SDEs to 6 SDEs and expanded the Used shopping experience charter to include 5 additional retail website pages built on a variety of tech stacks. In Q2, 2024, I was promoted to SDM III after successfully growing my team, promoting teammates, and expanding my charter. [Jan 2019 - Oct 2021] As a SDE in WW Returns & ReCommerce (WWRR) organization, I was a strong believer in their mission to Make Zero Happen (Zero Defects, Zero Cost of Returns, Zero Product Waste, and Zero Net Carbon, at scale). I had worked on a variety of projects mostly within the areas of Pricing, Listing, and Customer Shopping Experience for Used offers. I'm passionate at improving the shopping experience for customers who are purchasing Used items because buying Used is one of the best ways we can achieve Zero Product Waste. In Q4 2020, I was promoted to SDE 2. [July 2017 - Dec 2018] As a new hire out of university, I started working as a Software Development Engineer (SDE) in Amazon Business where we provided trusted businesses with the ability to order in bulk and launched Amazon Business Prime.
