Peter Groverman

Peter Groverman is a retired entrepreneurial attorney and the Founder & CEO of Grovara Technologies LLC, the world’s first B3B Global Marketplace and Trading Network for CPG brands. Grovara partners with multinational leaders such as Nestlé, Danone, Jacent Retail, and Liquid Death, selling successfully into 60+ countries. The company was recognized as the 2023 SBA Exporter of the Year for Pennsylvania. Rooted in a Quaker-school upbringing and lifelong commitment to service, Peter co-founded and serves as Chairman of The R.E.L.I.E.F. Foundation, a nonprofit empowering compassionate individuals to create maximum impact. Since its unofficial founding in 2005, RELIEF has mobilized hundreds of volunteers worldwide to deliver rapid-response aid for disasters including Hurricane Katrina, the Haiti Earthquake, Japan’s Tsunami, and the California and Maui wildfires, among others. Notably, RELIEF served as the alpha test for Venmo, with the platform’s first $300,000 in transactions used to fund rebuilding efforts for a Haitian orphanage in 2010. Beyond business and philanthropy, Peter works in the entertainment industry as an award-winning filmmaker, with experience in acting, producing, and editing — often joking that he’s “not a cop, just plays one on TV.” He specializes in documentary filmmaking and animation. In 2023, Peter served as Entrepreneur in Residence at Villanova University, where he helped students and faculty craft AI policies and launch new ventures.
