About
FRIENDS! Hello! I'm Griffin, I am a level designer that likes to focus on stories, characters, and experiences. I graduated from Baylor University with a BFA in Theatre Performance and SMU Guildhall for Level Design. I love writing quests and designing areas/encounters that revolve around unique, compelling characters and rich, detailed environments in both games and TTRPGs. I think all good adventures stem from compelling characters in compelling circumstances; interacting with the world around them, each other, and most importantly, the player. My background in theatre has greatly impacted my approach to level design. I try to incorporate a feeling of drama, intrigue, and intensity in each of my levels, almost making it feel like a performance with the player as the main actor. I approach every problem as an opportunity, and every take great interest in collaborating with others. I'd love to talk with you more about my past projects, current Dungeons and Dragons's campaigns, what books either of us have been reading, or if I ever learned how to skateboard yet.
