• Develop and manage strategic initiatives that monitor and improve Supplier performance by executing corrective action and continuous improvement plans. • Support execution of a Supplier Relationship Management program to manage all interactions with suppliers and ensures alignment with company and product strategies. • Facilitate clear and timely written or verbal communication, advising management of critical issues and provide some suggested solutions for assigned categories and/or projects. • Participate as a cross functional team member, actively working toward successful implementation and completion of team goals and objectives. • Maintain and update reports of progress and provide an analysis of projects as required by the Procurement and/or Cross Functional Team. • Maintain system data through team and functional processes. • Deliver on cost reduction commitments and execute strategic sourcing initiatives. • Evaluate and recommend suppliers to support both new product development and cost savings initiatives. • Identify and negotiate with suppliers to provide the best pricing, serviceability, and quality leveraging tools such as commodity trends and market conditions. • Develop and manage suppliers to monitor and achieve Corporate Goals which include Fill Rate, Inventory reductions, Cost savings & Sales. • Ensure successful execution of sourcing strategies and tactics.

• Lead the execution of strategic sourcing projects and new development product projects, including supplier identification, RFQ management and analysis, negotiations, supplier selection, product approvals, implementing design changes, and issuing initial purchase orders. • Lead the execution of strategic sourcing and facilitate activities and communication as the liaison between suppliers and cross-functional project teams including Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Strategic Sourcing, and Supply Chain. • Provide data analyses and input as required by Procurement, or cross-functional teams to ensure the best business results - challenging decisions where appropriate. • Ensure the one-time completion for new product launches and strategic resource projects • Manage supplier performance to deliver project goals and execute recovery plans when necessary. • Identify opportunities and carry out continuous improvements to procurement processes. Participate as a cross functional team member, actively working toward successful implementation and completion of team goals and objectives • Support in developing supplier and category strategies with the Strategic Sourcing Department • Lead weekly supplier meetings • Identify funnel opportunities for future sourcing projects to drive cost reduction • Ensure productivity targets are achieved for strategic resourcing projects • Monitor PPI and imitative negotiations or cost reduction initiatives to ensure annual cost reduction goals are achieved • Required to maintain system data through Team and functional processes.

•Working Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning), purchasing policies, procedures, and processes. •Procure component parts based on production requirements and supplier capacities. •Utilize capacity scheduling tools to effectively balance workloads across multiple product lines and processes within each supplier for component parts and finishes goods. •Facilitate communication to develop action plans to resolve supply constraints and/or bottlenecks. •Maintain and manage cash flow (expedite, closeout, de-expedite) weekly. •Reconcile invoice problems with accounts payable. •Review all safety stock/reorder points on component parts as required by business conditions. •Monitor inventory levels to objectives; timely follow up on discrepancies, negative inventory issues using ERP. •Manage a portfolio of both domestic and international suppliers. •Review excess and obsolete inventory and take the required action to meet corporate goals. •Identify and implement cost reductions.

•Execute regular inventory cycle counts and receiving audits to monitor quality and inventory accuracy. •Perform project analysis tests and recommend solutions as required. •Update incoming/outgoing shipment, inventory and accounting paperwork daily, carefully checking for discrepancies in arrival times, invoices, and inventory. • Work closely with the warehouse manager, process lead, and warehouse operators to resolve receiving, shipping, and inventory documentation issues. • Manage strong vendor connections at all stages, including arranging delivery structures and managing specific shipment or paperwork concerns. • Monitor email/phone to assist in the logistics of shipping and receiving flow.

•Established and maintained good relations with customers, vendors, and transportation companies. •Tracked inventory, conducted cycle counts and audits, and resolved issues to maintain accurate records.

•Oversaw and motivated a team of 8+ employees within a warehouse environment to maximize efficiency.
