Reporting directly to the COO, I am responsible for establishing and delivering a complex portfolio of infrastructure projects to enable the Great Grid Upgrade.

I had overall responsibility for leading the Nuclear delivery team in Developing, Consenting and Construction of strategically critical national infrastructure. Delivering high value complex projects; safely, to time, quality and within budget.

I managed a portfolio of construction works on National Grid's Nuclear portfolio including the Hinkley Connection Project which incorporate the new and innovative T-Pylons.

I led two high performing zonal planning teams and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, producing a commercially focussed plan that delivers the needs of our stakeholders and customers of the Electricity Transmission business. I achieve our regulatory outputs by producing an optimised plan to enable our operations colleagues to deliver.

I was responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the UK Gas Distribution and Stakeholder Delivery team ambition, facilitating gas Entry connections for renewable energy generators.

I project managed a team which was responsible for creating, communicating and tracking workload/capacity plans, directly linking these to the business plan by working with a wide range of Gas Distribution stakeholders. I raised the profile and importance of business planning throughout the business, demonstrating its value by linking this with the workforce shift pattern design, and tying the process in tightly with the finance budget.
