• Identified antimalarial drug targets by developing liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry-based methodology based on thermal shift assay • Elucidated the mechanism of action of drug by developing transcriptomics-based (i.e., RNA-Seq and DNA microarray) dose-response transcriptional profiling method coupled with analysis of differential gene expression and pathway enrichment analysis. • Developed standard operating protocol (SOP) for robotic RNA extraction and processing for RNA-Seq • Developed flow cytometry protocol for the determination of host-specific infection by malaria parasite • Conducted genetic editing/molecular cloning in P. falciparum for antimalarial drug target validation • Supervised students and junior scientists.
