I graduated from Hamilton College with a major in Public Policy. Relevant coursework included study of current social issues (e.g. welfare reform and the education system), lobbying and government affairs, monetary policy, and quantitative modeling and data analysis. As a student, my major accomplishments were putting together a 47-page reform proposal for the American public education system, as well as a comprehensive mock lobbying campaign regarding a pivotal tax cuts issue, both in a group setting. Further, my senior project exploring welfare reform analyzed the impact of recent reform on hardship utilizing both qualitative and quantitative analyses. My prior internship experience includes a semester-long position as a Research Associate with National Strategies, Inc., a private-public consulting firm, in addition to a summer spent as a Marketing and Compliance Intern with Novartis.
