About

I am an economist at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center in Falmouth, MA. A primary role in my position is to conduct economic impact analyses for management actions in New England and Mid Atlantic fisheries. Prior to my time at the NEFSC, I worked at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute and received my Master's in Marine Policy from the University of Delaware. My analytical paper to complete my degree was an economic analysis of a discard cap for Atlantic butterfish that was placed on the longfin squid fishery of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. At GMRI, I offered support for a wide range of projects, including an econometric model to optimize the use of At-Sea Monitoring in the groundfish fishery.
