Invented, designed and implemented a virtualization layer for storage devices. This allowed a storage device to be accessed as multiple independent devices. For example, a hard disk could be accessed as a ROM, Flash or hard disk. Collaborated with hardware teams in defining capabilities and requirements for the next generation SOC's, successfully extended capabilities and lowered cost. Architected and implemented storage solutions for embedded devices using disk drives, USB, SSD's and raw NAND, allowing company to be more versatile in their portfolio.

* Designed enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of firmware. Wrote and executed complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identified and debugged, created solutions for issues with code and integration into application architecture. * Designed a dynamic mass storage device discovery and mounting algorithm for LynuxWorks Real Time Operating System. * Designed and developed drivers for PCI-to-IDE disk drives. * Developed driver for NOR Flash devices (AMD and Intel command sets) to emulate a disk drive. * Key enabler of cutting edge technology through the development of driver for NAND Flash device to emulate disk drives, raw storage and to be the boot device. * Designed and developed a Dynamic Ram disk for use in LaserJet printers.
