Senior Managing Director - Construction, Projects & Assets @ FTI Consulting

About

I’m a global construction consultant executive with dual US/UK citizenship, based in the US. My focus is on balancing the needs of employees, clients, and shareholders, while delivering sustainable, strategic solutions in the built environment. Currently, I serve as a Senior Managing Director in the Construction, Projects & Assets practice at FTI Consulting, where I lead advisory and transformation services for the technology (TMT) sector—including data centers, manufacturing, and industrial developments. This work involves close collaboration with FTI’s Corporate Finance and Strategic Communications teams to optimize delivery from market development and investment through to RFS and handover. With 35+ years of experience in North America and Europe, I’ve led program, project, risk, and cost management for major global clients across sectors including financial services, life sciences, data centers, media and technology, aviation, hospitality, and retail. I’ve also worked with public-sector owners in education, housing, and transit. In life sciences, I’ve supported campus development for 8 of the 10 largest global firms by market cap. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor by training, I bring deep expertise in cost and procurement management. I specialize in aligning risk mitigation and anti-fraud strategies with core project controls—helping owners make better decisions, simplify dispute resolution, and achieve clearer communication across complex portfolios. I’m especially motivated by how the industry is responding to the climate emergency—moving beyond LEED to embed carbon impact metrics and align capital delivery with corporate ESG and SDG targets. Prior to FTI, I held senior executive roles with Mace North America, Ernst & Young and Currie & Brown. I reside in South Florida, having previously lived in Princeton (NJ), Phoenix (AZ), and Brighton (UK).
