Supervise the daily activities of the inventory control staff. I am responsible for evaluating the performance of the employees interpreting and explaining in detail the policies of the organization and make sure that every employee adheres by them. Ensures adequate levels of material and/or product inventories are maintained. Being an Inventory Control Supervisor I am responsible for evaluating replenishment needs and implementing strategies to meet those needs. I take care of the inventory areas by organizing and maintaining efficient material handling and storage. I work in tandem with various departments and maintain flexible attitude supporting all the work that helps in achieving organizational goals. I ensure that all the employees work towards achieving the objectives related to inventory control management and make suggestions for improvement to management.

Knowledge and understanding of the different vendors, part numbers, and package quantities, as well as their location within the back of house and sales floor. Know and understand all rules and regulations pertaining to hazardous material stocking, storing, and packaging. Share in the responsibility of warehouse and store cleanliness. Document any variances from the pick ticket or customer order to what was actually picked, so confirmation and invoicing will be correct. Conduct cycle counts daily to ensure inventory is available for customer orders and maintain floor stock.

3PL company holding various customers. Keep track of the goods and supplies. Duties include signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products. Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products. Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company’s standards. Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management and reporting discrepancies in inventory.
