Responsible for leading Conoco's pipeline and terminal business within North America, including operations, maintenance, engineering and safety/environmental support. Departmental performance was significantly enhanced during this time frame with underlying financial performance improved by more than $10 million per year and safety incidents reduced by approximately 15%.

Responsible for value chain optimization and strategic plan development for manufacturing, transportation and marketing operations within the Rocky Mountain Business Unit. Responsible for identification, development, negotiation and implementation of new downstream business opportunities for ConocoPhillips. Conducted refinery feasibility studies, due diligence reviews and economic valuations for numerous refinery assets within the United States, the Middle East and Asia.

Responsible for integration and optimization of ConocoPhillips' refining operations within the East and Gulf Coast regions. Improvement efforts focused on investment capital optimization and increased asset utilization resulted in cash savings to the corporation in excess of $300 million and annual earnings improvements of approximately $50 million.
