Greeshma Praveen

I am a Chemical Engineering graduate from Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, with a strong foundation in process design, simulation, and sustainable chemical technologies. My academic interests include energy efficiency, clean fuels, and heterogeneous catalysis, which led me to present my biodiesel research at the 2nd Global Conference on Decarbonizing India (GCDI’25) at NIT Calicut. I’ve also actively contributed to university initiatives, including serving as a student coordinator and class representative, showcasing leadership and teamwork. My industrial experience spans internships at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and Jotun Paints, Abu Dhabi. At BHEL, I worked on a project focused on the Lube Oil Console for turbines and compressors, where I gained practical experience in reading and preparing P&IDs and PFDs. During my time at Jotun Paints, I contributed to process improvements by identifying bottlenecks in automatic filling machines using OEE analysis and process mapping. My technical toolkit includes Aspen, AutoCAD, MATLAB, and Minitab, along with skills in root cause analysis, equipment sizing, and adherence to safety standards. My goal is to build a career in process engineering, quality control, or HSE, where I can apply my technical expertise and problem-solving skills to drive operational excellence and support sustainable solutions. I am especially interested in contributing to innovative projects in the chemical, oil & gas, or energy industries within the UAE and globally. I am always open to learning and growing in roles that challenge me and align with my passion for impactful engineering.
