Maine Apprenticeship Program: Assists employers with on-the-job learning programs in thousands of occupations. The employer pays the wages, while the program may reimburse up to 50% of tuition costs for related instruction. SafetyWorks!: An outreach program of the Maine Department of Labor designed to reduce job-related injuries, illnesses and deaths. On the Job Training: Intended to help defray the cost of training, fund may be available to Underwrite a portion of an eligible trainee/s wage during a training period.
