Experienced software manager and engineer working on full stack solutions from Backend, Frontend, and Embedded stacks. I’ve done a lot of systems programming in C and C++, including linux kernel drivers and bare metal systems with ARM and PowerPC (RIP). Also worked with network time sync protocols such as PTP, QoS tuning, file system / storage tuning, network tuning, flash/NAND/eMMC. Data Analytics is a passion area. Now working on one of the world’s best database offerings at Google - Spanner! I have an interesting academic background. I’ve earned a Master's degrees from University of Washington - Electrical Engineerin, Computer Science, and Applied Mathematics - Why not! As an undergrad I pursued 3 degrees at the same time, ultimately earning a BS in Mathematics, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and a BS in Computer Science all from the University of North Dakota. The team focused on cameras, display, calibration, factory bring up, system integration, and technical program management for Augmented Reality (AR) products such as Hololens 2 and IVAS. Former Engineering Lead and System Architect at Amazon Prime Air focusing on the onboard safety critical electronics for the delivery drone. When I left Amazon, I was the electronics platform subsystem lead driving the engineering efforts for both the software and hardware platforms that enabled the vehicle to fly.
