Working as a Technical Support Operative, advising petrol forecourt sites and engineers, on fuel dispensers, point of sale systems, tank gauges and other forecourt equipment. Also advising Customers on preventative maintenance, over phone fixes for equipment failure, basic point of sale. set-up programming (e.g. promotions, date/time, reports setup, e.t.c.).– some ICL Edacom but mainly GVR Passport Europe p.o.s.. Equipment on forecourts is constantly being updated so we received on the job training and attended related courses – for example SK700 dispensers, PPeu Install & remote updating.

Initially involve with national install of Htec Hydrapos system in all Morrisons petrol forecourts. After install completion, work similar to previous employment with more remote access and equipment intergration, mainly maintaininglupdating Hydropos pos system and peripherals, also involved with all other aspects of petrol forecourt (pfs) equipment, monitoring pfs – regular email alerts from fuel pricing(individual nozzles to polesigns), tank levels, network integrity and various eft alerts. also dealt with all aspects of bopc’s and original Morrisons Miles award scheme, mainly with updates and pfs queries. Last 3 years have been similar although pos software changed and not as involved with eft process also limited Match and More access
