I work for the Care Concern Group as an Operations Manager - building and supporting specialist clinical services.Prior to this, in October 2024, I was engaged by the Priory Group to assist in reviewing its Care First (employee assistance programme) business. This business was turned around quickly and in June 2025 this business was sold to OPTIMA HEALTH (UK market-leading occupational health provider) and the transition was completed in March 2026. Previously I was based in Dubai as the Middle East Operations Director for Priory Group's ASPRIS healthcare out-patient businesses across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi. Prior to this time overseas, for 10 years I managed the Priory Glasgow Hospital and its Consulting practices in Scotland. At that time Priory had over 25,000 employees in over 450 operational sites throughout the UK and delivered care through its clinics, hospitals, homes and specialist schools. From this portfolio, in 2015, the Glasgow Hospital was awarded the Priory’s UK “Site of the Year” for its standards of care and going into 2019 I received the Priory Group's CEO’s “Outstanding Leadership” award. Under my team's leadership, the Glasgow Priory Hospital built a strong clinical reputation as the UK's highest acuity specialist eating disorder unit - recognised as "Outstanding" under the Royal College of Psychiatrists' Quality Network of Eating Disorders' accreditation. Before Priory Group, I spent some years with US HR outsourcing company Ceridian as its UK Sales Director; leading teams to deliver HR technology & outsourcing solutions to large corporates (servicing over half the UK's FTSE 500), before leading Ceridian's UK Employee Assistance Programme (now owned by TELUS Health), providing psychological health support for corporate employees and their dependents. My background is predominantly in commercial leadership; forming a strategy & proposition framework, corporate relationship development, delivering against regulatory requirements, building collaborative operational teams, hospital supply chain strategy (Baxter Healthcare), health treatment funding (BUPA), corporate employee support (PPC Healthcare, Ceridian and Care First) and hospital/ clinic management (Priory). Early career - medical device supplies - built the UK's fastest growing hospital disposables' distribution business and integrated Macarthys Surgical into operating model, until its sale to the American corporation - Baxter Healthcare.
