Brand Advisor
Manchester, United Kingdom
I worked as a brand advisor on the concession counter of Mimco within the House of Fraser store in Manchester city centre. My daily roles included providing excellent customer service whilst being commercially aware of opportunities that would increase sales within the department, financial reconciliation at the end of each day, liaising with the Head Office in Australia with the daily sales figures and reporting key performance indicators to the Head Office in Leeds. Other jobs included managing the concession, ensuring stock was replenished and ordered to provide an efficient customer service and stock counts every morning. This experience grew my confidence over the 6 months and I was able to work well on my own aswell as in a team. I managed to gain valuable skills in textile apparel, recognising fabrics to offer customers a greater understanding of their purchase and giving a beneficial customer service. My best achievement whilst working in House of Fraser was exceeding the target sales figures each Sunday whilst working on the concession alone. I managed to link sell products and provide customers with a helpful and polite service at all times.

Senior Leader
Sports Dimensions
I worked voluntarily for Corby Sports Dimensions for 3 years during vacation periods. The group runs Sports and Arts activities for children aged 5 to 15 and during this time, I progressed to become a senior leader. My key responsibilities each day would be ensuring the safety of younger people and coordinating the activities and the management of the younger leaders. This has provided me with inter personal skills and developed my teamwork, independence and organisation when managing and being a part of a team.
