Sub Sea Node deployment and recovery for carrying out Geological survey as a part of the 5 year UAE govt. initiative to survey the entire Marine ADNOC operations area(30,000 Sq.Kms)

Carrying out vessel suitability surveys for Tugs/ barges operating in the UAE. Worked as Port Captain for our Clients Shin Yang Group at Ras Al Khaimah. Carrying out Marine warranty surveys for various clients in UAE. Worked as Party Chief for ALE(Abnormal Lift Engineering) Middle East PLC, on their project in Iraq for developing the SHELL ( Al Majnoon) Oilfield. The job scope included the following Planning/coordinating Sea Tug / Barge arrivals and entry into Al Maqal port from the time of departure from the UAE and Bahrain. Liaising with the local agents to ensure timely completion of customs/Immigration formalities for inbound tugs/barges and outwards port clearances for departing tugs/barges. Ensuring adequate UKC/Air draft clearances for the convoy's river passage from Al Maqal to the SHELL MMOF jetty 35 Kms upriver. Same done in consultation with the FUGRO engineer. Chairing the Toolbox talks with the entire Marine and Security team for each passage.Chairing Daily management meetings to discuss safety and logistical requirements for the entire Flotilla. Arranging for Provisions/Fresh water / Garbage and Sewage disposal for the entire Flotilla. Liaising with local Immigration and Police authorities to ensure all local regulations are complied with. Planning and disseminating the 7-day Look Ahead plan and Daily activity report to all concerned parties. Arranging for security escort and planning of transport for Crew change for the entire marine staff. Liaising with respective manning companies to carry out crew change in a smooth efficient manner. Liaising with the 3rd Party Security company to ensure the Flotilla is afforded adequate cover throughout the passage and when alongside at both ends. Arranging and connecting stores/spares for the Flotilla through the agents. Planning of barge priority as required by Client depending on what is required at the Oilfield.
