Efficiently ensures availability of the right parts in the right quantity, at the right software level and at the right time to support the Plant Spartanburg production program and Material Supply targets as they align to production goals. • Performs basic data processing and parameter administration in the Material Control System. • Controls part availability for on-going series production, parts run-in and run-out, and processing of technical and software changes within the scope for minimization of obsolescence costs. • Monitors internal supply chain processes impacting part availability line side throughout multiple departments including Procurement, Engineering, Assembly and other Logistics Departments. • Implements process improvements and cost savings. • Maintains and analyses the monthly and yearly SUMIS (Supplier Management Information System) rating information. • Monitors internal supply chain processes impacting part availability line side throughout multiple departments including Procurement, Engineering, Assembly and other Logistics Departments. • Monitors the training of new hires. • Controls supplies and stock by timely planning the correct quantity at the correct software level of parts, while at the same time optimizing the stock on hand. • Performs interrogation of multiple data sources (GPS/TAIS/SAP) to ensure information integrity. • Ensures adequate information flow to keep management informed concerning issues, following proper escalation procedures. • Coordinates the economical transportation with freight companies to ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials with Logistic Providers. • Previews inventories of parts on the floor and in the warehouse and makes computer adjustments as necessary to ensure accurate releases. • Runs Material Requirements Planning (MRP) reports, supplier releases and delivery schedules to ensure material availability.

• Systematic planning of Machined components (Machined Forging Components) as per PPC plan • Ensuring timely availability of material to avoid shortages & Line stoppages • Liquidation of Non-moving and slow moving items • Manage obsolesce control because of Design change • Release monthly schedule to vendor as per S O B , Considering the lead-time, services and Prices of Vendors • PPM Monitoring and supplier improvement plan analysis / up gradation • Alternate sourcing on the basis of benchmark Prices • Vendor Rationalization

• Procurement of metallic items, like gear machining blanks and gear forging • Responsible for A-Class Electrical & Electronics items like wiring harness, Capacitor, Transformers, Transistors, Machining components, Plastic parts, Gaskets, Fasteners, Packaging Items & Child parts, Sourcing/ Procurement from Indian & foreign sources • Responsible for Procurement of imported electrical items & preparation of Imports documentation, Purchase Orders, bookings of both air and ocean LCL/FCL shipments • Releasing schedules to Vendors as per monthly Production plan • To ensure the Inventory Control in stores as per 3R & FIFO • Communication on Quality issue with vendors and arrange & implementation of CAPA for all quality issues • Use of SAP in function related to Materials Management (MM) • Identifying and developing alternate source for achieving cost effective purchasing of materials and out sourcing requirements

• Responsible for A-Class Items as Electrical Parts (Stator & Rotor Assy), Copper Wires, Electrical Laminations, Die-casting Rotors, Machining components, Plastic parts, Gaskets, Fasteners, Copper Tubes, Brazing Rods, Packaging Items & Child parts, Sourcing/ Procurement from Local Sources • Responsible for Job Work Reconciliation of supplier on Weekly and Monthly Basis • Creation of Alternative Vendors & Obsolescence Control Worked on the basis of QCDD • Supplier visit, Supplier Audits & Proper Documentation (PPAP & Agreements) with Suppliers for proper Quality, Inventory control & Packing Standards • Costing of components & Time to Time Price-Revision of components • New Vendor Development & Cost Saving • To ensure the Inventory Control in stores as per 3R & FIFO • Shop wise, Product wise Production & Dispatch Cumulative data – MIS • Reconciliation of Purchase Vs Production, Theoretical Vs Physical Stock, Short/Excess Material, • Dispatched Vs Physical FG’s & Landed cost Vs PO of Customer • To ensure the material availability to the Vendors on Job-Work • 4M Management in Materials & Coordination with Team for Implementation of KAAN-BAAN
