Ensure that Procurement plans & schedules are correctly derived from the Sales forecast & BOM and  Monitoring Procurement of Raw Material , Packing Material and Trading Pdt. and supervising overall Purchase operation.  To decide business share allocation to suppliers .  Long term contracts for High Value / “A” class items.  Elimination of Single sources  Sourcing of Alternate Raw Materials for cost savings.  Std.Costing of all items and updating in ERP system.  Ensure proper system of reviewing stocks & monitoring reordering levels for better inventory control.  Centralize the purchase functions for direct & Indirect spent.  Confirming the Duty Exemption for all Imported Raw materials, packaging & Equipments.  Extending the credit terms of the existing suppliers.  Managing logistics operations involving coordinating with Transporters, Clearing Agents and other external agencies to achieve seamless & cost-effective transport solutions.  Procurement of Capital Equipments ,QC and R&D instruments  Strategic Sourcing , Vendor Development, Supply Quality assurance and supervising overall operation.  Member of LET ( Local Expert Team) for New Pdt Developments ,corrective action for Non Moving & slow moving Items  Monthly report to the Management on Purchase Performance-- cost savings, inventory value and purchase standardization .  VRM ( Vendor Reliability Management) for “A” Class vendors based on Quality and service.  Member of Thick core for Implementation of ERP system ( Axapta 9)  Ensure compliance for ISO 14000 standard requirement pertaining to Purchase Sika IMEA  Regional Material Group Manager and responsible for Packaging Materials for IMEA region.  Sourcing Manager for India, Middle East and S.Africa.

Sourcing & Developing Alternate vendors and elimination of Single source.  Developing local sources to cut down freight  Techno commercial information to R&D for cost optimization.  Price negotiation  Introduction of alternate RM for cost reduction.  Giving Technical Assistance to vendors to improve the quality.  Vendor Audit and Rating
