With a strong foundation in the life sciences, I've developed a passion for biotechnology and its applications. My academic background is built on a Bachelor of Science in Life Science (Biotechnology) degree which has given me a comprehensive understanding of biological principles, laboratory techniques, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and research methods. Throughout my academic journey, I have honed my skills in microbiology, biochemistry, genetic engineering and molecular biology. I excel in managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines and effectively communicating complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences. Having gained valuable experience through my internship at the African Centre for Gene Technologies (ACGT), I acquired hands-on experience in co-organizing lab-based workshops, theoretical workshops, symposiums and forums. This experience also broadened my expertise in administration, event planning and Microsoft Office. The skills and knowledge I've gained have not only expanded my scientific understanding but also shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for contributing meaningfully to innovative projects. As a passionate individual, critical thinker and collaborative team player, I am confident in my ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges and drive impactful outcomes. With excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude, I am poised to make a meaningful impact in my future endeavors. I am seeking opportunities in the Life Science/Biological Sciences, Biotechnology and Genetics in a variety of settings including hospitals and private practices.
