Spear heading Victorian warehouse operations of 5 warehouses. Mentoring & leading a team of 15 team members across Victoria. Conducting periodical stock takes, analyzing and fixing root causes. Supply planning of approximately 5,000 SKU’s, from various local suppliers. Placed orders in JDE & expedited timely deliveries in line with production plan. Planned & maintained inventory as per the defined norms. Ensured JDE was updated supply parameter like safety stock, MOQ, lead time. Key acheivements: Salvaged unused excess inventory by reusing – onetime cost saved $20K. Developed a new process for job-work suppliers to ensure supply continuity.

Managed end to end demand supply planning. Planned in-house & supplier’s production as a part of demand supply balancing. Planned imported raw ingredient on rolling 15months, based on sales forecast. Maintained optimal inventory levels for multiple SKUs in all warehouses. Reported upcoming supply issues to sales/demand planning team & mitigated supply risks. Ensured optimal balance between customer service levels & inventory holding. Key achievements: $17K one-time cost saved with BoM validation & correction. Developed & implemented system based inventory planning between business verticals. Subject matter expert & lead member in M3-MRP implementation.

Managed S&OP in a fast phased seasonal environment for a rolling 18months horizon. Planned factory investment, manpower & materials based on the monthly demand. Planned & maintained inventory of 25 different SKU and all upcoming models. Key achievements: Played a vital role in optimizing 223 sq. meter of space. Increased the factory capacity by additional 20MN per quarter in CY 2010.

Supply planning of close to 50,000 SKU’s from overseas suppliers. Highlighted supplier performance issues & addressed the same with management’s support. Placed orders in SAP APO & expedited timely deliveries. Planned & maintained inventory as per the defined norms. Ensured supply continuity by working collaboratively with suppliers, internal teams, transporters, warehouse & 3PL’s. Key achievements: Initiated & resourced a door bezel year on year cost saved $12K. Explored an alternate & salvaged obsolete mirror – onetime cost saved $28K. Developed & implemented various charts representing key metrics.

Prepared & maintained a supply plan for all SKU’s across 30 DCs nationally. Ensured domestic & export customer orders were fulfilled on time & in full. Developed and implemented the business model for national level distribution. Key achievements: Increased the load ability per fleet – YoY logistics cost $160K. Developed & implemented a manual order management process for export.
