I am a highly enthusiastic person that have a lot of interest in how things work. This had driven me to pursue my study in engineering and perform well in related works and projects. My greatest strength is self-discipline. When doing work, I will try to complete my work early and not procrastinating. Keeping the work precise on the goal and objective as well as in time. With my high enthusiasm and eager to excel, I manage my time and activities well to perform the best I could in my work as well as self-learning in my interest. Throughout my study, I had developed leadership skill in managing a music club as president. I learnt to lead a band, serve the club, connect with other universities and assigning work between teammates to achieve the common goal. As a engineer, I am tasked to design, analyze, verify and troubleshoot automation machine, conveyor system and ASRS system with AGV robots. Work in team with electrical and software engineer to troubleshoot and enhance the machine as well as work with numerous mechanical engineer to integrate the conveyor and ASRS system of a production line. In design phase, conceptual and detail design are drawn by using Siemens NX with right GD&T method and Shaft/Holes Tolerance Fitting Class to design micron level high precision components. Assembly stack-up tolerance, fastener type and dowel pins design is also considered to enhance the precision. The designing phase also involve Keyence vision system, Epson SCARA robot and pneumatics components. In order for the machine to meet the required cycle time, analysis is done on robot simulation and probability calculation. When the machine is built, the cycle time and process methodology is verified. I am involved in helping software engineer troubleshooting the calibration error, rearrange the process and minimize controller latency.

During the internship, I had been tasked to be involved in standardization of simplified pneumatic diagram and creating panel cut-out feature library as well as properly documenting them. I am also tasked to be involve in other essential department such as fabrication, machining and designing. As the standard JIS symbol is not understandable by some technician, there had been many variety of simplified pneumatic diagram. I had been tasked to study all the ongoing design and how the diagram is drawn by each engineers and technicians, proposing an easy to read and draw symbols to be used. A proper procedure of preparing a documentation and its format is also carry out during the works. I am also tasked to create panel cut-out feature library to improve the ergonomic of designing. A document is also written as user manual on how to use the feature library, add new panel cut-out and update the cut-out list. By involving myself into fabricating department, machining department and designing department, I had hands-on practice on metal cutting, laser cutting, metal bending, welding, powder coating, assembling, quality control, 3D modelling (CAD), 3D printing and product modifying. The involvement had bring me more understanding on machine limitation as well as tolerance and it is a major consideration in designing process to save the manufacturing cost and reduce the production time.

During the internship, I had learn many practical skills and knowledge that is important in the production line. I am also tasked to design a solution to check pneumatic leakage in a machine. I had tasked to assemble machines by understanding the engineering drawings and documentation prepared by engineers, using right type of connectors like counter-sink screw or counter-bore screw for different applications of assembling. I am also tasked to design a leak tester to be used for identifying leakage in the pneumatic system of a machine. The leak tester is proved to be working and able to identify leakage.

My thesis involve in obtaining the stress distribution of mixture of different grade of a newly synthesized hyper elastic material known as Poly(octanediol-co-dodecanedioate-co-citrate-co-itaconate) (PODCI) by using finite element analysis. I am also involve in Composite Science and Technology International Conference (COMSAT) 2022 on the research titled "On The Tensile Properties of Hyperelastic Functionally Graded Polymer".

I had designed a automated compact phone screen cleaner in a group and the design was short listed in Autodesk Malaysia Design Competition (AMDC) 2017. In my final years project, I am tasked to design a small prototype of wave energy hydro turbine generator in a group. Throughout this project, I had learnt to work as a group, the process of designing from sketch to detail design, fabricating, testing, validating and modifying as well as keeping the cost of the design within the budget. The prototype of the generator had taken part in FKM Design Day 2017.
