Design Review, System’s Support, Operation and Maintenance of Fixed Line technology infrastructure and transmission networks. NGN and IMS network configuration for legacy and Voice over IP Service integration. IP Mobile Backhaul Operation & Maintenance. Provide clients with inter LAN & WAN connectivity solutions. Tier II escalation point for faults/alarms on all Fixed Line & Transmission network nodes. Observe the MTTI and MTTR KPIs to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Managing the Huawei U2000 NMS transmission Server and the Ericsson NMS server to be able to control all the transmission devices (OSNs, OMSs, Mini-link Radios and SPOs) and perform Backups, Software upgrades and service configuration. Creating of trails (IP routes) for 2G and 3G sites from the BSC to BTS, & MPBN management. Ensure all 2G, 3G and LTE sites have robust protection to ensure reliable network availability for the subscribers. Participate in upgrades of all Fixed Line infrastructure and ensure documentation resulting from upgrades.

Doing routine checks on the network nodes and BTSs (Monitoring the performance of core network nodes including BSCs, MSCs, and Blade Clusters. Monitoring, detection and troubleshooting of the transmission network faults i.e., Microwave Radio and Fiber network systems to ensure full uptime of network resources. Fast tracking of network faults for minimal MTTR. Upgrading of TRUs at the Base stations and Site builds for increased network availability, reduced drooped calls, good hand over and optimization of the radio access network for customer satisfaction in line with the projects department plans. Service desk duties (Troubleshooting customer complaints); resolving network outage related faults and escalating other call charge related and poor quality to the respective handlers. Troubleshooting WiMAX faults. Create and provide network availability reports.
