After graduating from Edge Hill University with a degree in International Business, I was proud to begin my career at Gold Medal Travel. My academic foundation gave me a strong understanding of global markets, cross-cultural communication, and the dynamics of modern business—skills I was eager to apply in a real-world environment.At Gold Medal Travel, I was able to grow both my management capabilities and commercial awareness. During the two-year graduate course, I worked closely with a wide range of departments, gaining valuable insight into the full business cycle—from product development and marketing to operations, sales, and customer experience. This hands-on exposure deepened my understanding of the travel industry and allowed me to build strong internal relationships while developing a strategic view of how different teams work together to drive company performance.I further strengthened my leadership and professional skillset by completing the CMI Future Leaders Programme. This experience helped refine my decision-making, communication style, and ability to lead with confidence in a fast-paced environment.Today, I am proud to have progressed into the Trade Partnerships team as an Executive. In this role, I support key partnerships, contribute to strategic initiatives, and help deliver value for both our partners and our organisation. I am passionate about the travel sector, continuous learning, and working collaboratively to create solutions that move the business forward.I’m always open to connecting with professionals across the industry—whether to share ideas, collaborate, or explore new opportunities.
