Diego López is a world-renowned expert in Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs), who in the past few years has reshaped the industry by establishing several key initiatives including the Global SWF Data Platform, the GSR Scoreboard for best practices, and the SWF Academy to nurture the future leaders of the world’s top state funds. He is a rare blend of practitioner and academic and has published several articles in leading academic journals. A Spanish-American dual citizen, LSE graduate and Singapore resident, he is passionate about all-things-global. He has lived in nine different countries in four continents and has been to 93. Diego is a prolific open water and ice swimmer and has raced in all continents, incl. Antarctica. He is the author of "Continents Seven: Values for sports, business and life, learned around the world" and is planning a second book once he visits 100 countries.
