Originated, structured, and managed a power asset portfolio exceeding US$240 million, driving investment growth and portfolio performance. Power Sector Privatization: Delivered strategic financial advisory services to investors during the privatization of two electricity distribution companies in Nigeria, facilitating successful transactions and compliance with regulatory frameworks. Provided expert advisory support to power sector teams across African subsidiaries, enhancing regional project execution and strategic alignment. Led a cross-functional team in implementing revenue management solutions for select Nigerian electricity distribution companies, significantly reducing collection losses and improving cash flow efficiency.

Provided leadership to a team to a team of power sector experts. We participated and played key roles as project advisers and lenders in the power sector privatisation exercise in Nigeria Projects & Accomplishments: • Originated and participated in the structuring of syndicated Credit Facilities for the acquisition of two electricity generation companies (installed capacity of 960 and 1200 MW respectively) and four electricity distribution companies with total deal size of $490 million and $308 million respectively. The power assets include Ughelli Power Plant, Egbin Power Plant, Benin, Ikeja, Kano and Kaduna Electricity Distribution Companies • Originated and structured two Independent Power Projects Credit Facilities under a PPP arrangement with Lagos State Government with combined installed capacity of 19.2MW and total deal size of US$30 million • Managed two other IPPs with installed capacity of 10MW and 12.15MW under the same PPP arrangement with Lagos State Government • Led a team of financial advisers for debt raise for two investors in the electricity sector in Nigeria during the electricity sector privatisation programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria. • Actively involved in the structuring/negotiation of the N210 billion Nigeria Electricity Market Stabilization Facility (NEMSF) sponsored by the Central Bank of Nigeria and Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). The NEMSF is an initiative to address liquidity constraint in the Nigerian power sector, post privatization. • The team prepared the bid document that won the bank the second highest allocation from the NEMSF for onward disbursement to beneficiaries. • Negotiated and managed a $12 million Sodium Hypochlorite water infrastructure project for WATTCCON in Kaduna (first of its kind in West Africa) financed in collaboration with General Electric/USEXIM
